Bev has held many senior positions in her 45+ years in the Equestrian community. At the moment she is President of the North West Equestrian Federation.
Bev started a small Riding School while she was still in school. This was to fund her own competitive riding and pay for her ponies and horses.
Over the years Bev has produced many riders & horses and ponies that have represented their Province in Showing, Dressage, Show Jumping and Equitation. In addition, at one time Bev was the lunger and manager of the FS&NC Provincial Vaulting Team.
While Bev was National Chairman of Equitation she compiled, the previous collection of Equitation Tests. Many of these tests are still in use in the current test book.
Bev is the mentor of Elisha Mokhoanzi who represented South Africa at the 2014 Inter Africa Dressage competition. He achieved scores in the high seventies and was part of the Gold medal winning team.
Elisha also has represented first FS&NC and now North West in many Showing South African Championships. He has also won South African Championships on various borrowed horses.
Bev loves all aspects of Equestrian sport and does her best to encourage as many people as possible to ride and enjoy their horses.
